Virtual Attorney Consultations
If you have a question about your tenant rights, you may be interested in our virtual attorney consultation service. This limited-scope representation allows you to speak with an experienced tenant rights attorney who will work with you to identify the applicable legal standards in your case and possible solutions to your problem. If you would like additional help advocating for yourself, our attorney may also prepare a piece of written work product to help you communicate your concerns and explain your rights to a landlord or property manager. This is a consultation service and does not take the place of an ongoing attorney-client relationship such as those created by a retainer or hourly representation agreement.
30-Minute Virtual Consultation
Flat Rate Fee of $149
This service enables you to consult with an attorney in a virtual appointment regarding legal issues related to a current or recent tenancy. You may upload a reasonable number of documents and supporting items of evidence for our team to review before the consult to gain a better understanding of the issues in your case. The attorney will discuss the applicable legal standards in your matter, potential solutions, and a recommended action plan. Thirty minutes is typically enough time to discuss a straightforward concern, such as a security deposit dispute, a singular instance of harassment, or failure to repair.
60-Minute Virtual Consultation
Flat Rate Fee of $269
Similar to the 30-Minute Attorney Virtual Consultation, this service enables you to discuss legal issues related to a current or recent tenancy with an attorney in a virtual appointment, allowing for a more in-depth discussion. You may upload a reasonable number of documents and supporting items of evidence for our team to review before the consult to gain a better understanding of the issues in your case. The attorney will discuss the applicable legal standards in your matter, potential solutions, and a recommended action plan. Sixty-minute consultations are more suitable for complex or long-standing issues, such as unaddressed maintenance requests, patterns of harassment, or persistent nuisances.
Work-Product Based on Attorney Consultation
Flat Rate Fee of $150
Based on the consultation, our attorney will prepare a written communication, either as a ghost-written letter for you to communicate your concerns or a formal attorney communication relating to your concerns. This document is not a letter of representation, will not create an ongoing attorney-client relationship, and will clearly direct the recipient to address their concerns to you and not the attorney or Peregrine Legal Group. Please discuss this service with your attorney during your consultation if you are interested in it. This is available as an add-on to the 30 and 60-minute consultations
Contingency Representation
Contingency representation is a legal arrangement in which the attorney’s fees are dependent on winning the case and are not paid up front. If the case is lost, the client does not pay the attorney for work done. If the case is won, the attorney retains a percentage of the compensation awarded to the client. If you are interested in contingency representation, please get in touch with us for more information.
